Meet the Minds Behind the Madness
Creator/Host: Damon Amendolara
Known as “D.A.” across the airwaves, Damon Amendolara is the morning drive host on SiriusXM’s “Mad Dog Sports Radio” which has nearly 34 million subscribers. Weekday mornings from 6a-9a EST/5a-8a CST, he anchors ‘The D.A. Show with Babchik.’
His hosting career has spanned more than two decades, from Ft. Myers, FL, to Kansas City, MO, Miami, FL, Boston, MA, and national syndication. He spent 11 years at CBS Sports Radio, and joined SiriusXM in ‘23.
In addition to radio, video content creation is also in his DNA. In high school, D.A. used a home movie camera to create short videos for his communications class and cable-access TV channel. While working towards his Broadcast Journalism degree at Syracuse University, he shot, voiced, and edited packages and contributed to the university’s student radio station WAER.
Once YouTube came around, he developed both digital shorts and episodic shows such as ‘NOMAD,’ a 76-episode sports/travel series.
In 2023, D.A. launched ‘Watch D.A. Live’ to continue to connect both with his loyal listeners known affectionately as DA-liens and wider audiences across the globe. Full of instant reactions, guest interviews, contests, and creative segments, this latest endeavor looks and feels unlike anything else out there. ‘Watch D.A. Live’ streams live every Sunday night at 7 pm ET.

Executive Producer: Aidan Hatton
Aidan Hatton helped jumpstart ‘Watch D.A. Live’ in January ‘24. This is Aidan's second stint working with D.A. after interning with ‘The D.A. Show’ on CBS Sports Radio, while earning the nickname "The Marquette Marvel," a nod to his time at Marquette University where he studied both business economics and digital media, and hosted the award-winning Marquette Radio shows including ‘Games & Grub’ and ‘Milwaukee Coffee: Reimagine Brew City.’
Aidan now works full-time at NBC Sports Boston as the Production Sales Coordinator.
For “Watch D.A. Live,” he books guests, creates graphics, and produces every live episode. He also appears on-air reading comments and questions from viewers during a segment known as “Q & DA” which usually airs near the end of every show.

Assistant Producer/Video Coordinator: Ethan Frank
In his role on the ‘Watch D.A. Live’ team, Ethan creates many of the social media videos you'll see from ‘Watch D.A. Live’ on YouTube, X, and Instagram.
He graduated from Syracuse University in 2024 and also works at NBC Sports with Golf Channel as a Production Assistant for its studio programming. Ethan was Site Director at D.A.’s Syracuse digital media platform, “The Orange Fizz.”
